Christensen, uno dei primi piloti Porsche Hypercar, continuerà a correre con il numero 5 in questa stagione. È pilota ufficiale dal 2014 e nel 2018 ha vinto la 24 Ore di Le Mans nella classe GTE Pro. Nel 2021 tornerà sul podio.
Domare la bestia
Dopo 10 anni alla Porsche, Christensen è abituato a guidare le auto del produttore. Ma la Porsche 963 è una nuova sfida: «un po' come una bestia».
Affrontare questa sfida a volte è stato un po' tosto, ma Christensen dice: “È veloce e divertente, e con la concorrenza che c'è qui e i tracciati su cui corriamo, è davvero bello gareggiare”.
Penso che i fan debbano sapere che dietro le quinte succedono un sacco di cose.
