Il talentuoso pilota ufficiale Porsche Julien Andlauer ha iniziato la sua carriera nel mondo delle corse con il karting. Ha partecipato a diverse Porsche Carrera Cup, tra cui quelle in Francia e Germania. A soli 18 anni, Julien ha fatto la storia dell'automobilismo diventando il più giovane vincitore di classe della 24 Ore di Le Mans. Dal 2025 è pilota ufficiale del team Porsche Penske Motorsport, dove guida la Porsche 963 con il numero 5 al fianco di Michael Christensen.
Un nuovo volto sorridente nella famiglia Porsche Penske
Andlauer ha avuto una prima stagione da urlo nel 2024 con il team cliente Porsche Proton Competition. La sua stagione ha colpito i fan, il team Porsche Penske Motorsport e anche il WEC stesso, che gli ha dato il premio “Revelation of the Year” in Bahrain. Lui l'ha definita una “sorpresa enorme”.
E ora tutti gli occhi puntati su Le Mans. Vincere a Le Mans è il massimo per un pilota francese. “Sarebbe fantastico lavorare con Mathieu. Abbiamo già corso insieme un paio di volte, amiamo Le Mans e siamo francesi. Nessuno vuole vincere a Le Mans più della PPM con piloti francesi.”
