Porsche Mobil 1 Female Driver Program North America

The Porsche Mobil 1 Female Driver Program is a groundbreaking initiative designed to support and promote female talent in motorsports.

Providing female drivers with essential career development opportunities since 2023.

Created in partnership with Mobil 1, the program fosters an environment where female drivers can thrive in Porsche Carrera Cup and Sprint Challenge North America.

It reflects a commitment to increasing diversity in motorsports while providing pathways to advance into top-level professional sports car racing in IMSA and SRO.

Progress in motion.

The pathway.

The Porsche Mobil 1 Female Driver Program provides a clear progression for female drivers advancing from club-level and development racing into professional motorsport. Beginning in Porsche Sprint Challenge, participants build race craft, confidence, and consistency, with opportunities to progress into Porsche Carrera Cup North America and onward to top-level sports car competition in IMSA and SRO.

A growing record of success.

Launched in 2023 alongside Porsche Carrera Cup North America with the first official Porsche Mobil 1 Female Driver, Sabré Cook, the program builds on the foundation of the Porsche Junior Program North America and has quickly elevated female talent across the Porsche Motorsport Pyramid. Participants gain visibility, professional development, and race experience to support long-term career growth at the highest levels of the sport. Notable successes include numerous wins in Porsche Sprint Challenge, as well as several drivers progressing from Porsche One-Make series into open-competition racing in the 911 GT3 R and 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport in IMSA and SRO, demonstrating the program’s effectiveness.

Mentorship and development.

Female drivers receive factory-level guidance focused on both on-track performance and off-track professionalism. Education is delivered through seminars during Porsche Carrera Cup North America race weekends, structured workshops led by experienced Porsche professionals, and season-long mentorship that supports continuous development. The program also includes a two-day immersive workshop held in tandem with Porsche Junior drivers at the Porsche Penske Motorsport facility in Mooresville, North Carolina, featuring in-depth training sessions alongside the Porsche Penske Motorsport factory team.

Immersive development.

The program’s cornerstone is a multi-day immersive workshop, held in conjunction with the Porsche Junior Program at Porsche Penske Motorsport HQ, and complemented by insights from Penske drivers and team members at select race events, providing participants with hands-on training and guidance throughout the season.

Season-long driver mentorship.

Female drivers receive continuous guidance from former Porsche factory drivers Patrick Long & Richard Westbrook, who serve as season-long mentors. Drawing on extensive top-level racing experience, they provide ongoing feedback, insight, and perspective to support on-track performance, professional growth, and career development throughout the season.

Physical fitness and athletic development.

Focused on building strength, endurance, and injury prevention, this program prepares drivers to meet the physical demands of professional motorsport competition.

Performance mindset and mental preparation.

Delivered with Performance Prime and led by renowned Dr. Jacques Dallaire, this program develops mental resilience, focus, and performance habits designed to help drivers maximize their potential under pressure.

Engineer–driver communication.

Drivers are trained to work effectively with professional race engineers, learning how to translate feedback into actionable performance gains throughout a race weekend.

Porsche Motorsport and PMNA history background.

An intimate, one-on-one session with Porsche Motorsport North America President & CEO Volker Holzmeyer provides drivers with direct insight into Porsche Motorsport’s heritage, philosophy, and North American operations.

Media training and sponsorship engagement.

Drivers learn how to represent themselves and their partners professionally through effective communication, brand storytelling, and media engagement on and off the track.
