Erika Hoffmann is a Canadian racing driver competing in SRO GT4 America with Kellymoss, driving the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. She represents one of the most unconventional and inspiring paths into professional motorsport, proving that determination and initiative can open doors where traditional pathways do not exist.

With no karting background, industry connections, or financial backing, Erika’s journey began by cold-calling her local racetrack and volunteering simply to get close to the sport. She started participating in lapping days in her daily road car, driven by the goal of one day racing competitively. That persistence led to a breakthrough in 2022, when she entered the Formula Woman International Driver Search. Competing against more than 1,000 drivers from 35 countries and with no prior racing experience, Erika won the competition, earning a seat racing a McLaren GT4 in the UK and launching her international racing career.

Since then, Erika has continued to build momentum across multiple disciplines. She represented Canada at the FIA Rally Star Continental Final, finishing as the top North American female driver, and went on to claim race wins in her first season of Porsche Sprint Challenge North America. Each step has marked rapid progression fueled by adaptability and commitment to growth.

In 2026, Erika advanced to SRO GT4 America, marking a significant transition into multi-manufacturer GT competition. She is also the first Canadian selected for the Porsche Mobil 1 Female Driver Program, further solidifying her place within Porsche’s global development pathway.

Beyond her on-track achievements, Erika is the co-founder of Slate Racing, a female-led team dedicated to creating opportunities for women and underrepresented talent in motorsport. Passionate about expanding access and reshaping perceptions of how one enters the sport, Erika continues to use her platform to show that there is no single path to becoming a professional racing driver.
