Pascal Wehrlein began his racing career in karting and quickly made a name for himself with his DTM debut in 2013 at just 18 years old—the youngest driver in DTM history. Only a year later, he became the youngest driver to win a DTM race at age 19 and went on to become the youngest driver to win the DTM championship the following year.
His success in DTM opened the door to Formula 1, where he debuted with Manor Racing in 2016. In 2018, he transitioned to Formula E and in 2020, he became a Porsche factory driver for the Porsche TAG Heuer Formula E team. A significant milestone was achieved in Season 8 when Pascal secured the first victory for the team.
His pace, energy management, and incredible skills have positioned him as one of the leading figures in the highly competitive series, becoming a title contender with multiple race victories, including dominant wins in Diriyah and Mexico City. In 2024, Wehrlein pulled-off an outstanding performance in London and secured the ABB FIA Formula E Drivers’ World Championship title. He’s now ready to kick-off the new season and defend his title.
"I always believed in this, I always said myself multiple times a day 'we can do this. I'm even happier for the team than for myself. It makes me extremely proud to see how everyone in our team has worked so hard and given me their unfailing support since my first day at Porsche. This championship is for them and for my loved ones.
