Porsche Esports Supercup

The first way to qualify, is through a National Championship. These are organised through the official national Porsche markets and act as one of the first steps to qualify. From these National Championships, namely, Porsche Esports Carrera Cup Great Britain, Porsche Esports Carrera Cup North America, and Porsche Esports Endurance Trophy Nürburgring, up to three drivers are able to qualify for the Regional Championships.

This route runs parallel to the National Championships to give drivers an extra chance to qualify and consists of four race weeks that will run between May and June. Drivers are initially ranked within their respective regions, namely, The Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe and Middle East & Africa. Up to 32 drivers can be chosen from each region to take part in the Regional Championship.

The Regional Championships are the final opportunity to qualify for the World Championship and consists of five scheduled races of 30 minutes each and a grid of 32 drivers for each of the four Regional Championships. The eight drivers from each region with the most points at the end of the Regional Championship will qualify for the World Championship.

The fastest 32 drivers from Regional Qualifiers line up to battle for the Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship. The Weekend formats will consist of practice session, a qualifying session, a sprint race and a full-length race. At the end of the calendar, the prize pot of $30,000 will be divided respectively between drivers with the champion receiving $10,000.

We’re not stopping with the World Championship, because we want to push things further. Once the World Championship has concluded, we will select up to five drivers, from the 32 that competed, who have shown an interest in bridging the gap and making the jump to real world racing. These drivers will be given the chance to take part in a series of challenges where they will need to prove their skills, craft and ability. From these five, up to two drivers will then be put into a racecar and get the chance to show what they can do. If they’ve got what it takes, we will support them as a new development prospect. Alongside financial support, the candidate will be guided by Porsche Motorsport as they enter the world of non-virtual motorsports.

PESC has been the pinnacle of One-Make Series in Esports championships. Mirroring its real-world counterpart, it’s one of the most competitive championships in the world of sim racing and attracts some of the fastest drivers in the world, leading to incredible racing every time.

Only participants who have successfully registered on the official Porsche registration page and who are registered iRacing members shall be eligible to participate in the Regional Events. Only drivers who complete all required eligibility verification and registration by the end of the Global Open Qualifiers will be permitted to advance to the Regionals Championship. All drivers will use the new 911 Cup, a racecar designed with pure drivers in mind, that will no doubt test the abilities of our drivers.

Within Porsche Motorsport, we believe in all forms of racing talent and sim racing is another brilliant way to look for young racing talent in virtual disciplines.
