Porsche One‑Make Racing in Japan

Porsche Japan organizes two one‑make racing series: Porsche Carrera Cup Japan (PCCJ) and Porsche Sprint Challenge Japan (PSCJ).

Established in 2001, PCCJ is Japan’s premier one‑make championship, featuring the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. With over 20 years of history, it enjoys a distinguished status as the country’s top domestic series. Races are held at iconic race tracks—Suzuka, Fuji, Okayama, and Sugo—and frequently support high-profile events like SUPER GT and the F1 Japanese Grand Prix, providing standout media exposure.

In PCCJ, all competitors drive identical 911 GT3 Cup cars, ensuring parity: outcomes are determined by driver skill, strategy, and teamwork. This equal-spec format underscores fair, high-level competition. PCCJ has proven itself as a respected launching pad for emerging talent: many alumni have successfully advanced to elite series including WEC Hypercar, SUPER GT 300/500 class and Super Formula.
