The new Porsche 911 GT3 R rennsport offers the experience of driving a nine-eleven-based racing car in what is probably the most primal form.

Thomas Laudenbach, Head of Motorsports

Built for performance.

The 911 GT3 R rennsport was designed to be enjoyed, not to meet racing series’ regulatory frameworks.* It boasts a sensationally low target power-to-weight ratio of 1,240 kg to 456 kW (620 hp) – that’s a remarkable 2 kg per horsepower. This places it beyond the homologation restrictions encountered in racing series, so anyone who gets to drive it can fully concentrate on its pure performance, aided by its heritage-inspired retro spoiler, which draws on the legacy of the vehicle’s legendary predecessors.

Built for sound.

At 9,400 RPM the GT3 R rennsport’s exclusive and unsilenced rennsport exhaust system with a centrally mounted double tailpipe, emits an unmistakable roar unheard from any other 911. A mesmerizing sound that is music to the ears of its fans.

Built for enthusiasts.

The 911 GT3 R rennsport is built for those who can truly appreciate its legacy. Limited to just 77 units, it will be a rare sight on the racetrack – and every single one will be unique. Unlike other limited-edition vehicles, the 911 GT3 R rennsport offers a palette of customisation options. Choose, for example, from seven distinct colours, opt for one of the three exclusive paint designs or go with the most flawless colour Rennsport has to offer: pure carbon.

Built for Rennsport.

An evolution of the 911 GT3 R (992), this vehicle offers many exclusive features: From the specially designed exterior constructed from carbon fibre materials to its modified 911 interior, the 911 GT3 R rennsport stands out from the crowd.

Built for Passion.

Get ready for its custom-made transmission, its unrestricted rennsport engine developed based on the 911 GT3 R engine with higher compression, rennsport-specific camshafts, and pistons, an exclusive and unsilenced rennsport exhaust system, exclusive BBS wheels and Michelin tyres that were designed and built specifically for this vehicle, the exclusive performance upshift function that optimises the revs per minute during upshifting, and so much more.

Sportmade. Because sport is in the DNA of the 911 GT3 R rennsport.

For us, sport is a gift; it’s the essence of our drive, and whenever we make something — whatever that may be — it will be made of sport.
