The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup consists of several different classifications. The following is an overview of the different classifications as well as the Rookie and Junior programs.

Overall Classification.
The Overall Classification is the series’ official driver classification.
ProAm Classification.
The ProAm Classification is a separate classification for Drivers without a professional motor racing background. The minimum age to enter the ProAm Classification is 35 years (the Driver must be at least 35 by the closing date for the submission of entries March 15th, 2025). Participation is based on the sporting résumé of a Driver and requires written approval of the Series Organizer. For the classification to be contested, a minimum of 5 Drivers must have permanently entered the ProAm Classification. The maximum number of Drivers to participate in the ProAm Classification is limited to 8. The slots will be allocated on a first come first served basis (based upon date of receipt of fully and correctly completed applications). The points are allocated according to the points system of the Overall Classification.
Rookie Classification.
The Rookie Classification is for drivers who are contesting their first season in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and have not participated in more than five rounds of the series in any previous years. The age limit for the Rookie Classification is 25 years. The points for the Rookie Classification are awarded based on the points scored in the Overall Classification. The winner of the 2025 Rookie Classification will also receive a cash prize of €30,000 (approx. $31,360). This additional prize money will only be paid out on the condition that the driver re-enters the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup in the following year and classifies in the end-of-the-year Overall Classification. The prize money will be paid to the driver's team.
Team Classification.
The Team Classification is independent from the Driver Classification. Points of two cars entered under the same entrant's license are added together to determine the team ranking. Points for the Team Classification are awarded on the basis of the official race results irrespective of the several classification categories. If more than two cars are entered for one license, the team must name the two drivers to be included in the Team Classification for the corresponding Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup event before the end of the administrative checks.
Prize money.
In 2025, Porsche AG will be awarding over €630,000 (approx. $658,565) in prize money for the Driver and Team Classifications. The prize money will be paid out six weeks after the last race to the entrant named in the entry form. Please refer to the regulations for the applicable conditions.

Junior Development Program.
The Porsche Motorsport Junior Program was first introduced in 2012, and is used by Porsche AG to specifically promote young talent in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. Porsche Juniors are drivers who are nominated and sponsored by Porsche AG and who have successfully taken part in the Porsche AG evaluation process. Only Porsche Juniors may use the corresponding branding specified by Porsche AG on the vehicle and the official title of ‘Porsche Junior’ on communication material and clothing. Only one Junior can be registered as a driver per racing team, irrespective of the number of applicants and corresponding licences.
Rookie Program.
The development of young drivers is a top priority in the one-make series. For this reason, the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup offers a Rookie Program for up to eight drivers on a first come, first served basis. In this program, a dedicated and experienced race car driver provides individual support on and off the track - all integrated into the regular season. To be eligible for the Rookie Program, the driver must meet the following criteria:
Be a Rookie according to the sporting regulations
Have submitted a completed “Application for Driver Entry” as a Permanent Driver and the appropriate entry fee
Agree to participate in at least six competitions
Not be a member of the Porsche Motorsport Junior Program
The strongest contestant in the Rookie Program will receive a special prize in kind. To receive the full support of the program, the driver must:
Participate in all mandatory program elements specified by the Series Organizer or its nominated representative
Take part in at least six competitions
Ensure peak physical and medical condition
Comply with the program’s code of conduct
End-of-year standings.
All results from each race will be taken into account for the end-of-year standings. There are no void results. Drivers must participate in a minimum of six races in order to be considered for the end-of-year standings.
The winner of each classification will be the registered driver with the highest total points score from all classification rounds. The winner of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will be the registered driver with the highest total points score from all races in the Overall Classification. The champion of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will also receive a special prize.
