International One Make Series

Introduction

From North America to Asia over Europe, the Middle East and South America all the way to Australia and New Zealand, the world of Porsche One-Make Series has a lot to offer. Over the next few months, the various series will be introduced in groups of 3-4 in a monthly article to give fans more insight and a better understanding of the Porsche racing world.

Discover the thrill of the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland

The Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland contests its 21st season in 2025. For the first time, the three one-make cups of the customer and club sport racing series are part of the ADAC Racing Weekend. The Porsche Sprint Challenge Deutschland with the two run groups of GT4 and GT3 cars and the Porsche Endurance Challenge Deutschland are regular features of the automobile club’s motorsport platform and contest six race weekends. The calendar traditionally includes four events in Germany and two in neighboring countries.

In the run group GT4 of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Deutschland, various racing versions of the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport compete against each other. In the GT3 run group, drivers compete for the title with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. Each racing weekend features a practice session, a qualifying session and two sprint races. On Sunday, a joint endurance competition for the GT3 and GT4 teams with their Porsche racing cars rounds off the racing program. During this 60-minute race, the participants must complete a mandatory pit stop with an optional driver change.

Step inside the world of the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland

Now in its 36th season, the German edition is the longest-running of all the Carrera Cups. Over the years, many future Porsche Juniors, Porsche factory drivers, world champions and Le Mans winners have honed their skills at the Nürburgring, Hockenheimring and Norisring. Notable names include Kévin Estre, Timo Bernard, Julien Andlauer, Thomas Preining and Mike Rockenfeller. In 2017, Porsche Deutschland launched its own development initiative called Talent Pool. Currently operating in partnership with the German automobile club ADAC, the Talent Pool provides support on and off the track to eight young drivers, including Emely de Heus, the only female competitor on the grid.

A total of 28 drivers from eight teams have signed up permanently for the 2025 Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland. They represent ten countries, ranging from Germany with twelve competitors and the Netherlands with seven to single entries from Kuwait, Australia, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates. With Frenchman Alessandro Ghiretti and German Theo Oeverhaus, the grid features both current Porsche Junior drivers.

Depending on the race, up to four guest drivers will increase the number of Porsche 911 GT3 Cup on the grid to a maximum of 32. Points are awarded in the Overall, ProAm, Rookies' and Teams' classifications. The calendar features eight race weekends in five countries, with each weekend comprising two 30-minute heats. The first two events took place in support of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) at Imola in Italy and Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. The remaining race weekends form part of the DTM calendar and include a return to the spectacular Norisring street circuit in Nuremberg, as well as visits to the Formula 1 tracks at Zandvoort in the Netherlands and Spielberg in Austria.

Now in its second year with mobility giant SIXT as title partner, the German Carrera Cup not only entertains big crowds on the race tracks, but also attracts a huge international audience of armchair enthusiasts. The races are broadcasted live on TV in over 40 countries, including many in Asia and the Middle East. Coverage continues with highlight magazines produced worldwide in over 100 countries. Fans can also watch all the races via live streams also with English commentary, for example on the Porsche Motorsport Hub and the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland YouTube channel.

Fuel your passion for racing with the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia

Now one of the most popular Porsche One-Make Series globally, the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia is entering its nineteenth season in 2025, once again showcasing the passion for the German brand, motorsport, and the high level of competition that defines it. Behind the wheel of the latest generation Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars (992 model), breathtaking battles unfold on some of Italy's most prestigious circuits, including iconic motorsport venues (two of which also host rounds of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup) such as Monza, Imola, and Mugello.

This is one of the reasons why Porsche Italia’s one-make series remains among the most sought-after by top drivers and a key stepping stone for young talents. It also hosts numerous thrilling duels between "gentlemen drivers." The 2025 Carrera Cup Italia features a regular grid of 34 drivers from 11 different nationalities, representing 13 high-profile teams with strong international credentials. A total of 22 Porsche Centers from across Italy are involved, confirming the strong momentum of recent editions both in quality and quantity.

The overall standings will crown the 2025 Champion, while the Rookie classification is reserved for debuting drivers under 30 (mostly very young talents), and the Michelin Cup is dedicated to “FIA Bronze” drivers — a mix of semi-professionals and true gentlemen drivers.

An interesting fact: among the competing 911 GT3 Cup cars is the official entry of Team Q8 Hi Perform, the main partner of the Carrera Cup Italia. Sporting a special livery, the team has twice won the overall title: in 2021 with Alberto Cerqui and in 2024 with Keagan Masters, a talented South African driver who rose to prominence at a young age through the Carrera Cup Italia.

Lastly, great attention is paid to sustainability policies. In 2025, the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia is officially recognized as a sustainable one-make series with ISO 20121 certification, the highest international standard for sustainable event management, first introduced at the London 2012 Olympics.

Taycan Rush

This year, Porsche-based motorsport in Italy speaks more than just the language of the Carrera Cup Italia. Alongside the long-established one-make series featuring the 911 GT3 Cup, 2025 has marked the debut of the Porsche Taycan Rush. This new sporting initiative by Porsche Italia, made possible through the involvement of official dealerships, offers the opportunity to experience the Taycan Turbo GT — the most powerful road-legal Porsche ever — in an ideal racing environment. The version equipped with the Weissach Package is specifically designed for track use.

Drivers and their Taycan Turbo GTs with Weissach Package, equipped with custom Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS tires and fielded by participating Porsche Centers, compete in timed flying laps. They must manage electronic controls — such as the car’s energy recuperation strategy — while adhering to specific “slow zones” designated on one or more sections of each circuit.

Celebrating 25 years of Porsche One-Make Series - The Porsche Carrera Cup Japan

We are thrilled to commence the 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup Japan (PCCJ) season, a truly special milestone as we celebrate our 25th year! For a quarter of a century, PCCJ has stood as the pinnacle of one-make racing in Japan, a testament to the enduring power and excitement of Porsche Motorsport.

We kicked off the year with two races alongside the Formula 1 Grand Prix at Suzuka, followed by exciting rounds at Okayama International Circuit, Fuji Speedway (alongside Super Formula), and Sportsland SUGO (also with Super Formula), culminating in the spectacular season finale at Fuji Speedway with the WEC 6 Hours. We are excited to build upon our rich history and work together towards an even brighter future for PCCJ, filled with thrilling racing and innovative developments throughout this exceptional 2025 season.

Under the strict regulations, the race is fought under completely equal conditions, and many of those who have participated in PCCJ have gone on to compete in the GT500 and GT300 classes of the SUPER GT Series. The participating drivers are divided into three classes, namely, Pro class (Pro), ProAm class (ProAm), and Am class (Am). One of the highlights is that the drivers of similar abilities are participating in each class, which leads to exciting races. Each race will have an overall ranking, ProAm class, and Am class award ceremony. The PCCJ Series championship title is awarded to the driver with the highest final overall point tally. In the ProAm and Am class, the driver with the most points will be crowned champion for each class.

PCCJ Driving Adviser helps drivers build skills

The PCCJ Driving Adviser is helping drivers build the skills they need to compete at a level appropriate to Japan’s premium one-make series. Taking on the role this year is driver Masami Kageyama, who has an outstanding track record at top domestic races, including the Japanese Championship Formula Nippon (currently the Super Formula) and the Super GT, as well as the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Porsche Sprint Challenge Japan
