Money raised for Racing for Charity: €261,200

The Porsche Formula E Team is supporting seriously ill children worldwide this season with its Racing for Charity campaign.

For every race lap completed by its two factory-run Porsche 99X Electric, Porsche will donate €400 euros to Kinderherzen retten e.V., Interplast Germany e.V., and the Ferry Porsche Foundation.

After Pascal Wehrlein and Nico Müller completed the maximum number of laps at the tenth race of the season in Monaco, the donation amount stands at €261,200.

The programme has already generated more than €2.4 million for charitable causes in recent years. Previously, donations were based on the laps completed by the Porsche 963 of Porsche Penske Motorsport at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The races so far: A recap

São Paulo: Porsche power won the opening race of Formula E’s Season 12, as Andretti driver Jake Dennis prevailed in a thrilling São Paulo E-Prix. Having inherited pole position from Wehrlein due to a penalty, Dennis navigated a tricky race with several yellow flags to take his first win since Diriyah in Season 10.

Mexico City: The 150th Formula E race kicked off 2026, and it was another strong race for Porsche, as Dennis narrowly missed out on the podium in fifth. Wehrlein and Müller were sixth and ninth at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, while sporting a special Carrera Panamericana livery marking 75 years of Porsche Motorsport.

Miami: Porsche Formula E Team secured a brilliant double-podium finish in the Miami E-Prix. The weekend kicked off in style with Müller’s first pole position for the team, which he converted to the runner-up spot. Wehrlein, who lined up 11th, put in a strong charge through the field to finish in third. The strong results boosted Wehrlein to second in the standings, with Müller close behind in fifth after three rounds.

Jeddah (double-header): Round four provided a huge breakthrough, with a brilliant win propelling Wehrlein into the lead of the championship. He started third in Race One before going on to take his first victory of the season.

Madrid: Season 12 played host to the championship’s first race in Madrid, with the field heading to the Jarama Circuit. Wehrlein secured a podium finish, as five Porsche-powered machines finished inside the top 10. His late move for third meant he held the lead in the Drivers’ Standings, as Porsche held onto its lead in both the Teams’ and Manufacturers’ Standings.

Berlin (double-header): It was another strong outing in Berlin at the team’s home race, with Müller taking his first Formula E win in front of a cheering crowd while Wehrlein took third in Sunday’s race. The duo’s success came as the team sported the famous ‘Pink Pig’ throwback livery to mark 75 years of Porsche Motorsport. As part of the celebrations, four iconic historic cars also performed a heritage run at the Tempelhof Airport circuit.

Monaco (double-header): Despite a difficult weekend in Monaco, Porsche maintained its lead in the manufacturers’ championship, and achieved podium finishes with two cars from its customer teams. Both Pepe Martí, of Cupra Kiro, and Andretti’s Felipe Drugovich scored their first podium finishes in the series.

What the drivers said

We caught up with both drivers ahead of the Berlin E-Prix to hear how their seasons are going so far and learn a bit more about the people beneath the helmet. Check out their answers to our quick-fire questions here.

Asked about the championship battle, Wehrlein said: “I would say it's still too early to think about the championship. We had a good start to the season, which puts us at the front in all the three different championships, so drivers, teams and manufacturers.

“We also know that the competition is very good, and that it's quite tight, so we just need to keep working hard and build on what we have, keep improving and fight for every point there is to grab.

“Do I believe in it? Yes, I think we can win this year again. And I will give everything to do that.”

Müller, meanwhile, is settling in well with the Porsche Formula E Team, having joined from Andretti ahead of this season.

He said it has been “great” so far, adding: “I've been received with open arms. Working together with Pascal is very straightforward. It's always obviously a challenge when you change teams, when you have to integrate into a new environment.

“But it has been a very smooth progress so far. It's still ongoing. It’s not something that you feel like you finish off in a couple months, it takes time, but so far, very happy with how we're progressing.”

Looking ahead: The remaining rounds

Heading into the closing stages of the season, the next race will take place in Sanya, China on June 20.

From there, the championship heads to Shanghai, then Tokyo, Japan, for two more double-headers.

The season finale will take place in London, with two races to round off another thrilling campaign.
