Nürburgring Sprint Circuit (DEU)

When the Nürburgring circuit opened in 1927 with a motorcycle race, it already offered various track configurations. The longest measured around 28 kilometres and included the Nordschleife, which is still used for the 24-hour race today. In the 1960s, Formula 1 world champion Jackie Stewart gave the very demanding rollercoaster track in the shadow of the Nürburg castle the nickname “Green Hell”. Since 1984, a modern Grand Prix circuit has complemented the former officially called 'mountain, racing and test track'. In combination with the Nordschleife, one lap currently covers up to 25.387 kilometres. This makes the Nürburgring the longest permanent racetrack in the world. The Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland holds its races on a special variant of the Grand Prix circuit which is actually over five kilometres long; the so-called ‘Sprint Circuit’ reduces the length of a lap to 3.629 kilometres.

* All new vehicles offered by Porsche are type-approved according to WLTP. Official NEDC values derived from WLTP values are no longer available for new vehicles as of 1 January 2023 and can therefore not be provided.

Where values are indicated as ranges, they do not refer to a single, specific vehicle and are not part of the offered product range. They are only for the purposes of comparison between different vehicle tyrpes. Additional equipment and accessories (add-on parts, tyre formats etc.) can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics. These factors, in addition to weather, traffic conditions and driving behaviour, can influence the fuel/electricity consumption, CO₂ emissions, range and performance values of a vehicle.

More information about the differences between WLTP and NEDC is available at www.porsche.com/wltp.
