"I started with Team Penske on the RS Spyder program and transitioned over to the Daytona Prototype car. I then worked in IndyCar for a significant number of years, and then four years ago I moved back to working on both the sportscar and IndyCar programmes."

“I think what keeps it successful is that the goals are very clear and you have a lot of passionate people all trying to achieve those goals. It's a drug to be in that environment and you really look forward to it every day.”

“It goes back to that like-minded approach and challenging each other. Porsche has a lot of the same core values that Penske has, and we can really cut out a lot of the other stuff and the noise and just focus on what we need to do to be successful. They can call Urs [Kuratle, Director Motorsport LMDh] and have a conversation about something, and he already knows where we're trying to go and what we're trying to do, so it makes all of those things very easy for us.”

“We've gotten more efficient. I think we're talking about efficiency of the cars and the people and crews, and they're more reliable. So hopefully less hours at the track and all of those things. But really, it's just about the details - now, that's what we're really focused on. In the beginning, I look back to the Super Weekend in Sebring, and we were taking parts back and forth across both paddocks. Now, we’re really talking about the fine details of the cars and trying to maximise every ounce of performance that we can.”

“I think that's definitely one of the tools that I have that allows me to be successful. I started out as a tyre specialist on the RS Spyder program and worked my way up both in IndyCar and sportscars. That allows you to have great relationships. If you look at the people around you that have success or are in different positions, if you can learn from them, it's like being at school every day. And if you can apply those lessons to your own work and take those with you and then help others, now you're giving those back and helping our young people come up. It's great to see new team members we have be successful in their starting roles in the team.”
