Over 35 Porsche enthusiasts joined Porsche Motorsport North America for the first Porsche GT Track Day of 2026 at APEX Motor Park, in Maricopa, Arizona.

The first Porsche GT Track Day of 2026 officially got underway over the weekend at APEX Motor Park in Maricopa, Arizona, delivering an unforgettable weekend of driving, motorsport, and community.

Hosted by Porsche Motorsport North America, the opening event ran alongside the season-opening round of Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West by Yokohama, creating a true motorsports atmosphere for the GT Track Day drivers and their guests at the exclusive circuit.

On-track experience at APEX Motor Park.

More than 35 guests took part in the Porsche GT Track Day experience, bringing over 20 Porsche road cars onto the APEX Motor Park circuit. Participants received nearly two hours of track time, allowing them to explore their cars’ capabilities in a controlled, professional setting.

Throughout the day, guests were treated to full VIP hospitality, including access to the paddock, guided tours, and a meet-and-greet with legendary Porsche racer Darren Law.

The on-track experience reached its peak with an unforgettable finale – hot laps in the newly delivered Porsche 911 Cup car (Type 992.2) and a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.

Professional racers Andy Lee and Brandon Chappell piloted the race cars, delivering exhilarating rides that perfectly capped off a high-energy day immersed in Porsche motorsport.

Porsche Center’s Chandler & Arrowhead contribute to the excitement.

A key part of the weekend’s atmosphere was the support from Porsche Chandler and the newly opened Porsche Arrowhead. Serving the greater Phoenix area, the two dealerships brought the Porsche brand experience to life at APEX, engaging with enthusiasts across Friday and Saturday.

Both Porsche Centers showcased an impressive lineup of Porsche GT models, including a 2026 Porsche 911 GT3 & 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, both available for purchase.

On track, Porsche Chandler further supported the experience by supplying a striking Guards Red Porsche 911 Carrera, which served as one of the lead-follow coaching cars throughout the day.

The car played a key role in helping guests build confidence and pace while learning the APEX Motor Park circuit under professional guidance.
