Porsche Motorsport North America

The 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup North America season comes down to one final weekend at Circuit of The Americas, where Tyler Maxson and Aaron Jeansonne will settle the Mobil Pro championship on the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix stage.

Porsche Carrera Cup North America ends the season at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, in support of the Formula One United States Grand Prix. Like a year ago, the Mobil Pro class championship is on the line, and features a battle between a driver from TOPP Racing and Kellymoss.

Last year, TOPP Racing’s Ryan Yardley secured the title with a pair of wins in the finale. This year, his teammate Tyler Maxson enters with a 27-point lead over Kellymoss driver Aaron Jeansonne. A maximum of 56 points, 28 in each race, are available on the weekend – 25 points for a win, one point for the Race Brew pole position and two points for the fastest race lap.

The two drivers were rookie of the year contenders in 2025, with Jeansonne coming out on top for the award. This year, Maxson has scored eight wins to Jeansonne’s one. But Jeansonne has finished on the podium 12 times; Maxson’s only podium finishes have been his wins.

The two are the only drivers mathematically alive for the title. ACI Motorsports drivers Patrick Mulcahy and Marco Cirone have already clinched the Solairus Aviation Pro-Am and Solairus Aviation Masters titles, respectively.

A total of 25 Porsche 911 Cup cars are on the entry list for Circuit of the Americas, including 13 in the Pro class, 4 in Pro-Am, and 8 in Masters.

Season finale.

Porsche Carrera Cup North America remains a staple on Formula One weekends in the United States. For the fourth consecutive season, the championship will end at the United States Grand Prix. In 2026, the championship was also part of the Miami Grand Prix weekend. Per the previously announced calendar, Porsche Carrera Cup North America will return to both events in 2027.

"TOPP" rookie.

Cole Kleck has already locked up the Rookie of the Year championship, having finished as the top rookie contender in 12 of 14 races to date this season. The 2025 Porsche Sprint Challenge champion raced the final two rounds of the 2025 season to get a jump on the season, finishing on the podium at Road Atlanta. In his full rookie campaign, he’s already earned a win at Road America and is currently sixth in the overall points.

Championship celebration.

Following this weekend’s races, the eventual Pro class champion, Mulcahy and Cirone will gather with their fellow friends, competitors and teams to celebrate the championship in Austin. Series play-by-play announcer Ryan Myrhen will host the celebration at Porsche Austin.
