As the season comes to an end, here’s a preview of Porsche Motorsport’s activities in November.

While most championships have concluded their seasons by November, the FIA World Endurance Championship will hold its final round, the 8 Hours of Bahrain.

Taking place at Bahrain International Circuit on November 8, the final round of eight is sure to be another thrilling outing for the series, with all the championship titles still up for grabs.

The following weekend, some of the world’s top GT drivers head to the historic Macau Grand Prix on November 16.

Later in November, the Porsche Junior Program holds this year’s Shootout at Estoril to determine who will be selected as the 2026 Junior.

The chosen driver will be revealed at the Porsche Motorsport Night of Champions on November 29, along with some other exciting news ahead of the 2026 season.

Here’s a full preview of all the Porsche Motorsport activities taking place in November:

WEC: 8 Hours of Bahrain

The FIA WEC reaches its climax in November, with the 8 Hours of Bahrain marking the end of another season.

First held in 2012, the WEC’s inaugural season, 2025 marks the ninth time that the 8 Hours of Bahrain has been the WEC’s closing round.

The 15-corner, 3.363-mi (5.412-km) circuit, located in Sakhir, Bahrain, plays host to many high-profile racing series, including Formula 1 and Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East.

All the titles are still up for grabs in a hotly contested championship, with many ups and downs across the season.

The #6 Porsche Penske Motorsport car heads into the final round third in the standings, with Kévin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor just eight points behind second and 21 points behind the leaders. The pair are joined by Matt Campbell again for this round.

A new face joins Julien Andlauer and Mathieu Jaminet in the #5 car: Laurin Heinrich. The former Porsche Junior is usually found at the wheel of the #77 AO Racing Rexy car in IMSA, but will make his WEC debut in Bahrain.

Porsche is currently second in the Manufacturers’ Championship, 39 points behind Ferrari.

In LMGT3, the #92 Manthey 1st Phorm crew lead the way by 11 points, and will hope to secure a second consecutive title at the final round.

Customer racing: Macau Grand Prix

Three Porsche customer teams will head to the streets of Macau for the iconic Macau Grand Prix in November.

The 3.9 mi / 6.120 km Guia Circuit features 26 turns, twisting around the streets of the city with over 30 meters of elevation.

Five Porsche 911 GT3 R will tackle the historic track in search of the first victory for a Porsche at the event.

Absolute Racing will once again field Alessio Picariello and Laurens Vanthoor in their entry, with Ayhancan Güven and Laurin Heinrich representing Schumacher CLRT. Dorian Boccolacci will make his Macau debut with Phantom Global Racing.

The 72nd Macau Grand Prix will feature seven exciting races across several classes. The FIA GT World Cup will run alongside the FIA Formula Regional World Cup, the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour Event of Macau, the Macau Formula 4 Race, the Greater Bay Area GT Cup (GT4); and Macau Roadsport Challenge.

There is also two-wheeled action, with the 57th edition of the Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix taking place on the same weekend.

Porsche Motorsport: Junior Shoot-out Event

The chase is on: 12 talented young drivers will compete to become the 2026 Porsche Junior in this year’s Junior Shoot-out Event. From November 14 to 18, the drivers – nominated from across the many Porsche One-Make Series by either regional Carrera Cup championships or as wildcards - will undergo a series of assessments, both on and off-track. First, they will visit the state-of-the-art Porsche Esports Performance Center for a simulator session and various off-track checks. From there, they will fly to Circuito do Estoril in Portugal for the on-track trials, which will be undertaken in a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car. The format will follow that of a race weekend, with two free practice sessions before qualifying and a race. After this Shoot-out Event and after evaluating all results, one is selected as next year’s Junior, following in the footsteps of notable names including Timo Bernhard, Marc Lieb and Patrick Long. The winner will be announced at the 2025 Porsche Motorsport Night of Champions in Weissach on November 29.
