About
One of Porsche’s first Hypercar drivers, Christensen, remains in the #5 car for this season. A factory driver since 2014, he is a 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, taking victory in the GTE Pro class in 2018, returning to the podium in 2021.
Having spent 10 years with Porsche, Christensen is well accustomed to driving the manufacturer’s cars. But the Porsche 963 is a new challenge: “a bit like a beast.”
Rising to that challenge has proven difficult at times, but Christensen says “it’s fast and fun and with the competition here and the tracks we are on, it’s good fun to race.”
I think fans need to know there are a lot of things going on behind the scenes.
Explore the driver's triumphs and unforgettable racing moments.
