Zonhoven, 18 September 2026. The Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe will have a special world premiere in 2027. The new Porsche 911 Challenge will make its official racingdebut in a Porsche One-Make Series. This makes the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe the first championship worldwide in which Porsche Motorsport’s latest race car willofficially compete.
Preparations for the 2027 season of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe are already well underway. The Porsche competition, which takes place at circuits across Southern Europe during the winter months, is once again attracting considerable interest. One third of the available grid positions for 2027 have already been allocated, with the first participating teams set to be announced shortly.
Dedicated class for the Porsche 911 Challenge
The arrival of the new Porsche 911 Challenge is one of the key innovations for the 2027 season. The car will have its own class within the Club Division of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe. This allows teams and drivers to immediately deploy the new Porsche in a competitive environment and go head-to-head with competitors using identical machinery.
The Porsche 911 Challenge is already available to teams and drivers looking to compete in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe in 2027. The car is offered through Prospeed at an attractive discount for the Porsche One-Make Series.
2027 season continues to take shape
The next edition of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe is also taking shape from a sporting perspective. Interest from teams and drivers remains particularly strong, with one third of the available grid positions for the 2027 season already allocated.
The Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe will kick off the racing season on 23 and 24 January in Portimão, followed by Estoril (29-30 January) and Barcelona (13-14 February), before the season finale in Valencia on 19 and 20 February.
With the world premiere of the Porsche 911 Challenge, the further development of the Club Division and strong early interest, the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe is set to remain an important pillar within the international Porsche One-Make Series in 2027, both as a competition in its own right and, of course, as preparation for the 2027 motorsport season across the various Porsche competitions.
