Nico Müller and Pascal Wehrlein will join the Porsche Penske Motorsport driver line-up for next month’s World Endurance Championship race at the 6 Hours of Spa.

The pair will drive in place of Mathieu Jaminet and Matt Campbell, as the Spa event clashes with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s Laguna Seca round.

Müller brings his WEC Hypercar experience with Peugeot to the #5 car, driving alongside Julien Andlauer and Michael Christensen in place of Jaminet.

He will also serve as the Porsche Penske Motorsport reserve driver at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.

Wehrlein, the reigning Formula E champion, will drive in the #6 car shared by full-time pairing Kévin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor, in place of Campbell.

The pair both made their race debuts in the Porsche 963 in IMSA this season with JDC-Miller MotorSports.
Wehrlein took part in the 24 Hours of Daytona with the customer racing team, finishing sixth, while Müller raced in the following round, the 12 Hours of Sebring, scoring an eight-place finish.

Both drivers are members of the Porsche works line-up, with Wehrlein joining the line-up in 2020 and Müller joining ahead of the 2024-25 Formula E championship.

The pair both currently compete in the all-electric series, with Wehrlein spearheading his title defence with the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team and Müller racing for customer team Andretti.

The WEC’s 6 Hours of Spa takes place on May 10, with the IMSA Monterey SportsCar Championship race at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on May 11.
