How to Get Started in Motorsport
Entering the world of motorsport can seem complex. Yet at Porsche, the path to the highest level is clear, structured, and internationally recognized. The Porsche Carrera Cup France now stands as one of the best entry points for young talents looking to build a solid career in competition.
Porsche Carrera Cup France: a springboard to excellence
The Porsche Carrera Cup France allows drivers to compete in an extremely competitive environment behind the wheel of the Porsche 911 Cup. Here, pure talent makes the difference: the same car for everyone, prestigious circuits, and comprehensive support. It is often the first step toward professionalism for drivers who want to demonstrate their potential against the best.
The PCCF Junior Programme: revealing tomorrow’s talents
At the heart of this pathway, the Porsche Carrera Cup France Junior Programme stands out as a unique initiative dedicated to identifying and supporting talented young drivers. Rigorous selection, athletic coaching, mental preparation, media training, and technical support: everything is designed to transform a fast driver into a complete driver. Joining this programme means benefiting from a professional framework and exceptional visibility within the Porsche ecosystem.
The career path of Alessandro Ghiretti perfectly illustrates this success: Porsche Carrera Cup France Junior in 2021, Porsche Carrera Cup France Champion in 2024, then Porsche Motorsport Junior in 2024/2025. He was subsequently named Porsche Official Driver for the 2026 season, celebrated during the Night of Champions at the end of last year.
Macéo Capietto – PCCF Junior 2026
For the 2026 season, the Porsche Carrera Cup France continues its commitment to developing young talent with the selection of Macéo Capietto as Porsche Carrera Cup France Junior. He joins the programme with the objective of continuing his progression within the Porsche ecosystem. Macéo Capietto now has the opportunity to showcase his potential in one of the most competitive one-make championships in Europe, while following the same development pathway that has led many drivers to the highest levels of international GT racing.
Drivers who have become true international references
Porsche Carrera Cup France has seen many drivers pass through its ranks before going on to perform at the very highest level. Names such as Kévin Estre, Mathieu Jaminet, Julien Andlauer, and Ayhancan Guven honed their skills in Porsche Carrera Cup France before shining in the biggest races and championships: the 24 Hours of Le Mans, FIA WEC, IMSA WeatherTech Championship, GT World Challenge, and DTM. All of them followed a natural progression, climbing the steps of the Porsche pyramid until joining official programs.
A clear pathway to Porsche Motorsport
Thanks to its national and international championships, Porsche offers a genuine pathway for talent identification and progression. Performances in Carrera Cup can open the doors to international competitions and lead, for the most talented drivers, to a career within Porsche Motorsport—like Dorian Boccolacci, who became a Porsche Works Driver after being a Porsche Motorsport Asia-Pacific driver following his PCCF title in 2023.
Whether you are an ambitious young driver or already experienced, the Porsche Carrera Cup France represents far more than a championship: it is a school of performance, a showcase for talent, and a unique starting point for building a lasting career in motorsport.

PETN Talent Pool – Driver Development Programme on the most demanding racetrack in the world
The Talent Pool of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring focuses on young drivers who choose to race on the toughest and most demanding racetrack in the world: the Nordschleife. The Green Hell, which is over 20 kilometres long, presents drivers with special conditions, not only due to the track itself. To be eligible to start, you need to be at least 18 years old and hold a driver's licence, so the Nordschleife is usually not the very first step in a young driver's motorsport career. However, several young talents take the step into the PETN as the only Porsche one-make series that faces the Nordschleife.
Workshops and taking advantage of the Manthey network
To support the young drivers the PETN Talent Pool offers an extensive programme starting with a kick-off event at Manthey in Meuspath right next to the Nürburgring among others. The Talent Pool gets exclusive insights into the premises of the company with a look behind the scenes at the workshops of the different departments. Moreover, media workshops, fitness trainings as well as team building events will keep the drivers busy throughout the season. The PETN is utilising contacts from the Manthey network to support the young drivers as best as possible. For example, engineers from Manthey’s DTM and WEC team will teach the talents how to analyse their performance after each race, in order to help them develop by sharing their experience of working with the Porsche factory drivers.
The PETN Talent Pool 2026
The international line-up in the Talent Pool is divided between both classes. The four participants from the Cup 2 class are Ryan Harrison (USA), Ben Koslowski (Germany/USA), Raphael Rennhofer (Austria) and Leon Wassertheurer (Germany) from Team Black Falcon. In the Cup 3 class, Peder Saltvedt (Norway) and Henry Lindloff (Germany) from Smyrlis Racing, Calvin de Groot (Netherlands) and Darian Donkel (Germany) from SRS Team Sorg Rennsport, as well as Lorenz Stegmann (Germany) from W&S Motorsport are part of the Talent Pool.
