Rally Trophy Benelux

Presented at the end of December as the first official Porsche One-Make Series on the rally stages, the Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux 2026 will consist of five events, kicking off from 24 to 26 April in Namur as part of the Rallye de Wallonie. Although the technical and sporting regulations still have to be approved by the RACB, the main outlines are now known.

Each day of a rally will be considered a separate round. Therefore, all events – Rallye de Wallonie, Ardeca Ypres Rally, GTC Rally (Netherlands), Saarland-Pfalz Rally (Germany) and East Belgian Rally – will award points twice. The points of the final round in Saint-Vith will be doubled.

This means that nine ‘rounds’ will count towards the final standings, with the eight best results being retained. To be classified, participants must take part in at least two rallies.

“Alongside the ‘Drivers’ classification, there will be a ‘Masters’ classification for drivers over 50, while ‘Teams’ will also enjoy a fully-fledged championship, with the two best cars entered by a team scoring points at the end of each event,” explains Series Manager Yves Matton. “Each rally will feature a Power Stage, allowing the five fastest drivers to earn extra points in the ‘Drivers’ classification. At certain events, ‘Guest’ or VIP drivers will be included in the Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux. These drivers will not score points and will not appear in the final standings.”

“To ensure the utmost sporting fairness, the Royal Automobile Club of Belgium will assign specific technical stewards to each event, including those outside Belgium,” adds Lionel Hansen, who oversees the technical development of the Rally GT kit for the 911 GT3 Cup. “The only car authorised in the Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux is the 911 GT3 Cup (Type 992.1) with Rally GT Kit, in accordance with its homologation form.”

How much does it cost?

Registration for the Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux costs €4,500. It is possible to register as a ‘Driver’ for the entire season, as well as a ‘Team’.

“As specified, each team will be able to collect points from its two highest-ranked cars at the end of each round,” continues Yves Matton. “This system allows drivers who occasionally hire a car from a ‘Team’ to be fully integrated into the Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux.”

Please note: a ‘Team’ registration entitles the entrant to nominate only one crew. Teams wishing to nominate several crews must pay a registration fee for each of them, whether for the full season or for a single event. This means that the nominated crew may differ from one rally to another.

Drivers may also register for a single round. In that case, the registration fee is set at €1,200.

A €70,000 prize fund

Registration for the Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux offers numerous advantages for drivers and teams, including a prize fund worth €70,000. Included in the entry fee are Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux racing gear and clothing, catering with access to the Porsche Hospitality at the service park, tyres to be won at each event, and a full refund of the rally entry fee for one crew selected at random.

“At the end of the season, the winners of the three Porsche Rally Trophy Benelux classifications will receive some truly enticing prizes,” announced Rudi Penders on behalf of Prospeed, “including a test drive of the future ‘Project Rally One’.”
