Zonhoven, 22 October 2026. The Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux brought its 2026 season to a successful conclusion at Circuit Zolder. Two hard-fought races, intense title battles and strong performances from both young talents and experienced drivers provided an exciting finale to the championship. Just 18 years old, Milan Marczak (Ajith – RedAnt Racing) was crowned the new champion of the fastest one-make series in the Benelux, while Joep Muller (Muller Racing by JW) secured the Rookie title after a thrilling conclusion. The PRO-AM Cup and Team Championship were also decided, bringing to a close a season in which the combination of young talent, experienced drivers and strong teams once again delivered high-level motorsport.

Milan Marczak caps an impressive season

Milan Marczak arrived in Belgian Limburg with clear ambitions and reinforced his intentions during qualifying. The young Polish-Dutch driver secured pole position for both races, ahead of Paul Meijer (Quanloop EST1 Racing) and his only remaining rival in the title fight, Jaap van Lagen (Team RaceArt). In the Rookie category, Joep Muller was fastest in both qualifying sessions, while Jani Käkelä (39 Racing) achieved the same feat in the PRO-AM Cup.

The first of the two races took place on Saturday afternoon, with Marczak once again demonstrating why he had arrived at Circuit Zolder leading the championship standings. The Ajith – RedAnt Racing driver made an excellent start and controlled the race from lights to flag. Jaap van Lagen, who immediately moved into second place, and Paul Meijer kept the pressure on, but Marczak remained unfazed.

After 30 minutes plus one lap, the young driver celebrated not only his race victory but also the 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux overall title. It was a special moment for Marczak, who had already claimed the Rookie title in 2025 and, just one season later, had now taken the step up to the overall championship.

“It is an indescribable feeling, and I can hardly put into words what I am feeling,” said the 18-year-old Marczak. “We have worked towards this as an entire team, following a plan over two seasons. Last year, we won the Rookie title, and now we have the overall title. I would like to thank everyone at Ajith – RedAnt Racing, my partners and the people at Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux.”

Behind the new champion, Jaap van Lagen finished second, securing second place in the championship standings. Paul Meijer completed the podium.

Joep Muller finished fourth overall and won the Rookie classification, keeping his title hopes alive. Behind him, Mauro Polderman (Ajith – RedAnt Racing) impressed on his series debut, finishing second among the rookies ahead of Henry Wheeler ([a-workx] by KATANA Tools).

In the PRO-AM Cup, victory went to Finland's Jani Käkelä, ahead of Levent Türkmen (MDM Motorsport).

A second win for Marczak, with the Rookie title decided at the finish

Milan Marczak was once again the driver to beat on Sunday. Although the newly crowned champion briefly lost the lead in the final race, he quickly regained it with a superb overtaking move on Paul Meijer. The battle for victory was effectively settled, and Marczak went on to secure his second win of the weekend.

Jaap van Lagen rounded off his season with another second-place finish, while Hjelte Hoffner (MDM Motorsport) crossed the line in third.

With two pole positions and two victories, Marczak put an impressive finishing touch on his championship-winning season. The final standings tell the story: he finished the season with 248 points, ahead of Jaap van Lagen on 213. Alexander Reimann (Quanloop EST1 Racing) completed the championship's top three with 149 points.

Joep Muller claims Rookie title after thrilling conclusion

While the overall title was decided on Saturday, the Rookie Championship remained wide open until the final race of the season.

David Dziwok (Team GP Elite) began the final race leading the standings but endured a difficult outing. Joep Muller took full advantage of the situation, securing his second Rookie victory of the weekend and, with it, the Rookie Championship title.

“I am incredibly happy after a season in which, at the beginning, I was not even sure which direction we were going to take. To achieve this after everything that has happened makes me extremely happy,” said the new Rookie champion.

Mauro Polderman continued to impress on his series debut. The young Belgian finished second among the rookies once again, this time just one tenth of a second behind Muller. Joep Breedveld (Team RaceArt) completed the podium.

In the final Rookie Championship standings, Muller scored 210 points, 15 more than Joep Breedveld, who finished runner-up with 195 points. David Dziwok and Henry Wheeler both ended the season on 190 points, with Dziwok securing third place in the championship.

Jani Käkelä and Quanloop EST1 Racing also finish on top

Jani Käkelä was once again the strongest driver in the PRO-AM Cup during the final race. The Finn thus concluded a particularly impressive season in which he dominated the category. With 301 points, he finished well clear of Levent Türkmen (MDM Motorsport), who collected 145 points.

The Team Championship was also decided at Circuit Zolder. Quanloop EST1 Racing finished the season at the top of the standings with 301 points, following a campaign in which the team delivered particularly strong performances at several circuits.

Team RaceArt finished second with 293 points, while Ajith – RedAnt Racing, the team of new overall champion Milan Marczak, completed the top three with 273 points.
