The motorsport calendar reaches its conclusion in November, with the FIA World Endurance Championship hosting its blockbuster season finale: The 8 Hours of Bahrain.

With Porsche Penske Motorsport having already claimed both the drivers’ and manufacturers’ championships in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the team is now gunning for both titles in the WEC too.

Can the team fight to the very end and secure the prestigious endurance racing double?

Elsewhere, Formula E builds anticipation to its 2024-25 season with its pre-season test at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain, from November 4 to 7.

The four-day test will be the first time for fans to witness the new GEN3 Evo machines take to the track ahead of another thrilling season, with Pascal Wehrlein hoping to defend his drivers’ crown.

Here’s a full preview of all the Porsche motorsport activities taking place in November:

WEC: 8 Hours of Bahrain

The FIA World Endurance Championship hosts its thrilling season finale in November, with the 8 Hours of Bahrain taking place at Bahrain International Circuit from October 31 to November 2.

First held in 2012, the WEC’s inaugural season, 2024 marks the eighth time that the 8 Hours of Bahrain has been the WEC’s closing round.

The 15-corner, 5.412-km circuit, located in Sakhir, Bahrain, plays host to many high-profile racing series, including Formula 1 and Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East, and has previously held events such as the FIA GT Championship and Porsche Supercup.

The two factory entries finished fifth and seventh last year, and will be hoping to build on the strong results achieved so far in 2024.

After strong performances this season, the team heads to Bahrain leading both the drivers’ and manufacturers’ championships. The #6 car, shared by Kévin Estre, André Lotterer and Laurens Vanthoor, tops the drivers’ standings by 35 points, while Porsche leads the manufacturers’ standings by 10 points from Toyota.

The #5 car, driven by Matt Campbell, Michael Christensen and Frédéric Makowiecki, is fifth overall with one round to go.

The race will be followed by the WEC’s annual rookie test on November 3.

Formula E: Pre-season testing, Circuit Ricardo Tormo

Formula E will kick off its season in November, hosting its pre-season test ahead of Season 11 at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain.

Taking place over four days from Monday 4 to Thursday 7 November, the GEN3 Evo cars will take to the track for the first time - among them, the brand new Porsche 99X Electric.

Circuit Ricardo Tormo is a familiar pre-season circuit, having hosted the official Formula E test for the last eight years. Located just outside Valencia, its headline event is the MotoGP World Championship’s season finale.

Pascal Wehrlein and António Félix da Costa will once again compete for the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team, with Wehrlein defending his drivers’ title. The 2024-25 season marks Wehrlein’s fifth and da Costa’s third campaign with the team.

The Thursday of the test will serve as Formula E’s dedicated test session for women, with 22 female drivers taking to the circuit, while 400 young women are invited to a special FIA Girls on Track event to see behind-the-scenes.
