Here’s a full preview of all the Porsche Motorsport activities taking place in May:

IMSA: Monterey SportsCar Championship and Detroit Grand Prix

The Porsche Penske Motorsport team will be fighting to continue its three-race podium run at the next round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

After a 1-2 at both Daytona and Sebring, the #6 car took its third consecutive rostrum at Long Beach, while the #7 car holds its championship lead.

The first race of May takes place on May 3, with the Monterey SportsCar Championship at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

Taking place at the stunning Californian circuit, it is another sprint round, lasting two hours and 40 minutes, across the 3.6km / 2.2mi course.

The #6 car won here last year, and will be fighting for another victory in 2026.

Both cars will sport a special Apple livery for this event as part of the wider 75 Years of Porsche Motorsport programme taking place in 2026.

Formula E: Berlin and Monaco E-Prix

The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship has a busy month in May, with four races across two rounds.

The Berlin E-Prix double-header comes first, on May 3-4, marking the Porsche Formula E Team’s home race.

Taking place at Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport, this street circuit is a fan favourite, and will be sure to deliver yet more exciting all-electric action.

Both factory cars will sport an iconic throwback livery for this event: the Pink Pig. Read more about the livery here.

Pascal Wehrlein currently leads the Drivers’ Standings with 83 points, nine clear of his closest rival, while Porsche leads the teams’ and manufacturers’ championships.

The Monaco double-header, rounds nine and 10 of this year’s championship, take place on May 16 and 17.

One of motorsport’s most recognisable and picturesque locations, the streets of Monte Carlo will provide a stunning backdrop for two more thrilling races.
