Re-live what drove us
The 2025 Michelin 992 Endurance Cup powered by Porsche Motorsport at Spa-Francorchamps was a full-throttle spectacle. Relentless pace, bold strategy, and pure Porsche passion lit up the Ardennes from morning into the night — a motorsport showcase that kept fans on edge all day long.
Race Recap
Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium — In a thrilling repeat of last year’s triumph, 48 LOSCH MOTORSPORT by BLACK FALCON once again stood atop the podium at the 2025 Michelin 992 Endurance Cup powered by Porsche Motorsport, cementing their dominance in the 12-hour endurance classic.
From a measured start to a commanding finish, the team of Piana, Pereira, Müller, and Rivas executed a flawless race strategy, navigating traffic, pit stops, and Safety Cars with precision. Their victory was hard-fought, with Red Camel-Jordans.nl pushing them to the limit before settling for second place.
The race wasn’t just about the front-runners. Van Berlo Motorsport by Bas Koeten Racing impressed with a third-place overall finish and PRO-AM class win, while SebLajoux Racing claimed AM-S honors in fifth overall, showcasing the depth of talent across the grid.
Perhaps the most inspiring story came from BLACK FALCON’s No.121, which overcame a practice crash and missed qualifying to win the AM-B class — a testament to resilience and teamwork.
With teams from across the globe and a tyre strategy that kept engineers guessing, the 2025 edition of the Cup delivered everything endurance racing promises: speed, strategy, and spectacle.
As the sun set over Spa-Francorchamps, one thing was clear — the spirit of Porsche Motorsport continues to thrive in the Ardennes.

New Format, New Thrills
The event kicked off with two additional test sessions on Thursday, leading into a bold new Qualifying format that raised the stakes from the very start. A single-lap Top 10 Shoot-Out delivered high drama as the best of the best battled for the first glimpse of Eau Rouge. Prior to the Shoot-out teams battled out the standings in three 15-minute qualifying sessions, each contested by a different driver from every team — with fresh tyres for each run, ensuring maximum pace and precision.
Regulations Reimagined
The sophomore year brought significant rule changes. The former Am class was split into AM-B, reserved for Bronze-rated drivers, and AM-S, allowing Silver-rated drivers with a strict four-hour race time cap. Each class now features its own ranking system, adding clarity and competitiveness.
Track limit penalties were adjusted — the threshold raised to five before penalties apply, with a reset after six hours of racing. Driver changes are now permitted during refueling, while pitlane pneumatic wheel guns and high beam headlights have been banned. Tyre strategy became even more critical, with the usage limit reduced from 12 to 10 sets.
A Weekend of Racing and Rendezvous
Friday featured the Porsche Club Historic Challenge and two races from the Eurocup 3 single-seater championship, adding variety to the motorsport spectacle. Near the Porsche paddock, the Rendezvous area showcased around 275 Porsche cars, offering exclusive access to owners. Benefits included grid access before the 12-hour race, grandstand seating, coffee vouchers, and goodie bags. On qualification day, a VIP Circuit session gave guests the opportunity for an hour of track action starting at 12:30 local time.
VIP Experience Elevated
The Porsche Lounge offered a premium hospitality experience with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus grid and pitlane access for the podium celebration. Dedicated parking and curated gifts rounded out the exclusive offering.
