Project Manager Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup

LEADERSHIP DRIVEN BY PASSION

For over 30 years, the Porsche Supercup has relied on the dedicated contributions of individuals working passionately behind the scenes. The series’ success requires a great deal of organisational coordination during the calendar of the Formula 1 World Championship. Mastering the balancing act between the expectations of stakeholders and fans encompasses the project oversight led by Oliver Schwab.

Why the Porsche Supercup is special to me...

The secret to the Supercup’s success lies in the exceptionally high level of sporting competition. This aspect is well-recognised by both the participating teams and drivers. Consequently, everyone strives to attain the highest level of preparation. Even before entering the Supercup, drivers ensure that they acquire sufficient experience in the race car, meticulously preparing themselves, and engage in additional private testing sessions with their teams.

They often compete in multiple national Porsche one-make series simultaneously. Furthermore, we’ve established robust support procedures, including the Junior and Rookie Programmes. These initiatives draw on the expertise we’ve built up in more than 30 years of racing to help develop the works drivers of the future.

* All new vehicles offered by Porsche are type-approved according to WLTP. Official NEDC values derived from WLTP values are no longer available for new vehicles as of 1 January 2023 and can therefore not be provided.

Where values are indicated as ranges, they do not refer to a single, specific vehicle and are not part of the offered product range. They are only for the purposes of comparison between different vehicle tyrpes. Additional equipment and accessories (add-on parts, tyre formats etc.) can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics. These factors, in addition to weather, traffic conditions and driving behaviour, can influence the fuel/electricity consumption, CO₂ emissions, range and performance values of a vehicle.

More information about the differences between WLTP and NEDC is available at www.porsche.com/wltp.
