What is Porsche Carrera World Cup?
The Porsche Carrera World Cup is based on a four-day race concept from 5th to 8th of March 2026 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya that offers drivers a unique opportunity. Racing drivers from all the Porsche One-Make Series worldwide unite to race together and determine the Porsche Carrera World Cup Champions. Over 100 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (type 992) will be expected to start in 2026. Three driver categories ensure that every driver has the chance to fight for a Porsche Carrera World Cup title.
The grid will be divided into 4 different groups during the group phase. Each starting group will have two free practice rounds, a qualifying session and three races from 30 min + 1 lap. After these races, the drivers with the highest scores in their driver category will advance to the semi-final. For the semi-final, two groups will be formed, and each group will have a qualifying session followed by a race. Lastly, the top drivers will make it to the final race on Sunday afternoon where they will compete in a 30 min + 1lap race for that Porsche Carrera World Cup Title.
