In 2022, kick started his Porsche racing career by claiming a double-class victory in the New Zealand Endurance Championship 1-hour race (Class 2 and 3). In addition, Giltrap and co-driver Simon Evans won the 3-Hour GT4 class crown in a Porsche 718 GT4.
In his first-year racing in Australia, Marco dominated the grid and secured the 2023 championship title in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Australia. In the off-season he has been competing in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe Championship where he finished 8th in the Pro Class.
