Brock Gilchrist, a standout young talent from Auckland, was named the 2024 Team Porsche New Zealand (TPNZ) Scholarship recipient, earning his place in the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia. Backed by Earl Bamber Motorsport, Gilchrist piloted the 911 GT3 Cup Car to an impressive second-place finish overall in the championship. His selection followed a dominant 2023 Toyota 86 Championship win and a strong showing in the GT NZ Championship.

Building on that momentum, Gilchrist has stepped up to the 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, representing TPNZ in one of Asia’s premier motorsport series. His early results have been promising, including multiple top-five finishes and a podium at the Bangsaen Street Circuit. Competing alongside Formula 1 events like the Chinese and Singapore Grands Prix.
