About
The talented Porsche factory driver, Julien Andlauer, began his motorsport journey in karting and took part later in the Porsche Carrera Cup France and Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland. With the age of 18 he made history as the youngest class winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2025, he joined the Porsche Penske Motorsport team, where he now competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship in the car #5 besides Michael Christensen.
Andlauer had a stellar maiden Hypercar season 2024 with the Porsche customer racing team Proton Competition. His season impressed fans, the Porsche Penske Motorsport team and also the WEC itself, which presented him with the Revelation of the Year award in Bahrain which he says was a “huge surprise.”
A victory in Le Mans is the greatest achievement for a French driver. "Together with Mathieu would be great as well, we’ve been team-mates a few times already, we love Le Mans, we are French. There's nobody that would want to win Le Mans more than PPM and French drivers together.”
