The biggest performance leap in electric motorsport to date.

The new 4th generation Formula E racecar will make the sport faster and more exciting. The 975 RSE delivers 600 kW (816 PS) of power, permanent all-wheel drive, new tyres and significantly increased downforce, bringing Formula E into the slipstream of the fastest single-seater racing series worldwide.

Instantly Rapid

Very few vehicles accelerate like a racecar, and even fewer like a Formula E car. Its lightweight design and instant power mean it launches like a rocket ship from 0–100 km/h in approximately 1.8 seconds.

The Efficient Edge

Electric racing is all about the efficient use of energy and no championship does it better than the FIA Formula E World Championship. Efficient energy use means you can stay at the top of your game for longer and with a 43% increase in race energy, drivers will also be able to push harder for the win.

Supreme Stopping Power

Racing at the limit, passing for the win. Brakes are one of the most important parts of a vehicle, not just to stop, but to out-brake your opponents and grab the win. The 975 RSE features an impressive set of brakes and 700kW of regenerative braking, which means that very little energy is lost and the 975 RSE can stay as powered up as possible throughout the race.

"The GEN4 symbolises the progress being made in electric vehicles."

Thomas Laudenbach, Vice President Porsche Motorsport

“It is really fast and great fun to drive. Thanks to the new aerodynamics, we are significantly quicker, especially through the faster corners. I think GEN4 will be a real eye-opener for many people out there.”

Pascal Wehrlein, Porsche Formula E Team Driver

"The GEN4 is a real beast – with huge power and traction thanks to the permanent all-wheel drive. You could almost say it feels like a different sport.”

Nico Müller, Porsche Formula E Team Driver

* Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.

Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO2 values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO2 values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO2 emissions of a car.
