Young and ambitious

Some people spend their lives looking for the one thing that truly excites them. Fortunately for Elvis Rankin, it found him at not even four years old, when he first sat in a race car. Rankin started racing at age five and when he was eight years old, his parents bought him a simrig to aid in his training and improve his skills on track.

But for the young American, it was more than just that. He was immersed in the competitive nature of Sim Racing immediately when he started.

The opportunity to get on the track with the best drivers in the world on an equal playing field was what made him decide to seriously pursue Sim Racing in 2020. Rankin may be the youngest one in the team, but even at age 16, the driver from Indianapolis is already very experienced at racing and very determined about his goals. Competing in the Skip Barber iRacing Championship in 2022, he finished second and won a fully paid half of a season of real-life racing – where he won the Championship – one of his personal racing highlights so far. Rankin is on track for great things, and we can’t wait to see how far he'll go.

* Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.

Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO2 values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO2 values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO2 emissions of a car.
