Dayne Warren: A great sense of humour that’s dead serious in the Rig.

Dayne Warren was destined to be a part of motorsports, with a dad that was taking him to clubs and motorsports events from an early age. His enthusiasm about all things racing grew and grew, picking up speed as soon as he could pick up a controller. Playing video games like old TOCA games and Gran Turismo.

Sim Racing was a natural progression for him, as it felt not only more challenging but also more engaging. Besides all the action, Warren appreciates the virtual nature and unique opportunities Sim Racing provides: being able to race any car, on any track, from any time period. In 2012 he finally switched from controller to a wheel and pedal set.

In 2017 Warren started his professional Sim Racing career in a team in Australia, where he drove V8 supercars in the local premier series and started a rapid learning curve. His first big success marked the 2020 Supercars Eseries Championship which he won. This gave him the confidence to push further. But Warren does not only shine with talent and skills, but he also keeps the team entertained with his bone-dry humor. Ask him, what makes him a great driver and he’ll answer you with a gem like this: “I know the difference between the throttle and the brake.” Very funny, Dayne!

* Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.

Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO2 values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO2 values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO2 emissions of a car.
