Porsche 911 Cup (992.2) – Technical Overview

Only the Porsche 911 Cup (992.2) is eligible to be entered in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. Each customer is fully responsible for ensuring that their car complies at all times with the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup 2026 technical regulations.

More detailed technical information is available on the dedicated car page.

Porsche Technical Support

Porsche engineering and technical staff are available at all events to assist teams with any questions related to the Porsche 911 Cup (992.2) and the technology supplied by Porsche AG. This support covers all vehicle systems, data recording hardware, and event‑specific technical processes.

Technical support is provided both at Porsche AG in Weissach and onsite at all racing circuits.

For additional technical or logistical enquiries, teams may contact:

Dominik Quosdorf Email: dominik.quosdorf@porsche.de

Spare Part Service

Trackside spare parts support is provided by Manthey Racing GmbH, who attend each event with a dedicated spare parts truck, providing essential components to cover unexpected damage or accident‑related repairs. Parts can be obtained directly at the truck in the paddock.

Teams are expected to manage their own supply of standard wear items, such as brake components and other consumables, by bringing sufficient parts to the event themselves.

For Spare Parts Service, teams may contact:

Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG Abteilung Sportteileverkauf/EMV3 Markgröninger Straße 45 71701 Schwieberdingen Germany Phone: +49 711 911- 89956 Email: raceparts@porsche.de

Fuel

During each event, teams are required to use the fuel specified by the Series Organiser and provided by the official on-site fuel partner. Fuel is only available at the circuit and cannot be brought in from external sources.

To ensure fairness and consistency, fuel compliance may be checked at any time. Please note that adding any substances or modifying the fuel in any way is not allowed.

Refuelling is not permitted during qualifying sessions or races, so cars must start each race with the necessary fuel already onboard, in line with parc fermé requirements. Where refuelling is allowed, it must follow the timings and locations defined in the Sporting Regulations and be carried out using approved equipment and safety procedures.

Details on fuel prices and how to place orders, including all relevant forms, will be shared by the PMSC Organisation before each event.

Data Recording

COSWORTH is the data recording partner of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. All race cars are supplied ex works with a data recording system. For further information please contact COSWORTH Electronics Ltd directly.

Tyres – Supply, Allocation and Handling

The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup runs on Michelin tyres. Michelin provides full tyre service at every race event, including mounting, balancing, and technical support. Current prices and order forms for slick and wet tyres are available through the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup Organisation.

Tyres are allocated to each competition number and are marked by the Technical Scrutineers in line with the official tyre allocation and marking procedures. Throughout free practice, qualifying, and the races, teams may use only the tyres recorded on the corresponding tyre log.
