Jordan Caruso: From track to rig and back

Jordan Caruso is living proof of what you can achieve in a short amount of time – if you are truly determined. At age 7, Caruso was hooked on racing, after being to a kart track with his dad. That’s when he got his own kart, and he has been competing in races ever since. In 2022, he won the National Sports Sedan Series Championship Title.

But Sim Racing? He only entered that world when he was 14 years old and didn’t race competitively until he was 19. In 2020, he was fully invested in Sim Racing, quickly reaching world championship level and racing professionally for Altus, an Australian team.

I love the fact that Sim Racing puts everyone on an even playing field.

During the 2023 Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup, the Australian stunned the crowd with his strong form and consistent performance, securing the Championship Title early in the Monza sprint race. A key moment in his career and the result of hard work invested with purpose. You don’t get this far, this fast by just being talented. This achievement is a testament to Caruso’s greatest skills: focus, dedication and a laser-sharp ability to identify where to improve. This level of self-awareness is a rare trait – but it’s one that will ensure Caruso keeps pushing to become the greatest sim racer he can be.

I feel truly privileged to be racing for Porsche. They are at the pinnacle of Motorsport and Sim Racing, so it brings me great pride to be able to represent them doing something that I love.
