The Porsche Formula E Team took a win and a podium across the Berlin E-Prix double-header as Pascal Wehrlein retained his drivers’ championship lead.

It was a strong weekend all-round for Porsche power, with two Porsche entries finishing in the top 10 on Saturday, and three on Sunday.
Despite briefly relinquishing his lead on Saturday, Sunday’s podium for Wehrlein boosted him back to the top of the Drivers’ Standings with 101 points.
Porsche also held its lead in both the Teams’ and Manufacturers’ Standings after round eight of 17.
Florian Modlinger, Director Factory Motorsport Formula E, said: “Second race of the weekend in Berlin and another podium – this time for Pascal, including pole position as well, which brings very important points for the championship.
"From Nico’s side, he delivered a strong race starting from P11. While fighting for P5, he suffered a collision. Otherwise, he would have been on course for a top‑five result.
"Overall, it was a very strong weekend for us, increasing our advantage in both the teams’ and manufacturers’ standings. A big thank you to all the fans who supported us this weekend and everyone in the team, both at the track and back at the factory.”
Saturday’s race: Victory for Müller
The weekend kicked off in style with a stunning victory from Nico Müller - his first in Formula E.
Lining up sixth, the Swiss driver hung back in the early stages to conserve energy, a crucial move in this 39-lap race.
Though he had lost out one place early on, he made it past team-mate Wehrlein on lap four to run in fifth-place.
Shortly after, Wehrlein, who started second, tumbled down the order after suffering a front-right puncture.
He was forced to stop for a fresh tyre, and so also took his Pit Boost, a 34-second stop for an additional 10% of energy.
Unfortunately, he was unable to recover from the back of the field.
Meanwhile, up ahead, Müller took his Pit Boost on lap 23 and emerged in ninth, but was quickly back up to fourth once the pitstops were complete.
A bold strategy move saw him take his Attack Mode on lap 28 - an early option - but it paid off as Müller took the lead with 10 laps to go.
He quickly built up a 2.2s lead, increasing that to 4.8s at the chequered flag.
After Saturday’s race, Wehrlein and Müller were second and third in the Drivers’ Standings, and the Porsche Formula E Team extended its lead in the teams’ championship.
Sunday’s race: Podium for Pascal
After a frustrating Saturday, Wehrlein bounced back on Sunday to take his fourth podium of the 2025-26 season and swiftly recapture the lead of the championship.
Starting on pole, Wehrlein held the lead across the first half of the opening lap before running wide to allow other drivers to lead in an energy-intensive race.
He stayed in the top five, avoiding incidents before climbing back towards the front of the pack and taking second place on lap 10 down the back straight.
Amid a very tight battle, he then took his Attack Mode on lap 20, holding onto second place.
Wehrlein took his second Attack Mode on lap 29, setting the fastest lap two laps later before hitting the front on lap 32.
Though he lost two places due to Attack Mode strategy, he finished the day in third at his home race.
Müller started just outside the top 10 in 11th place, and made good progress throughout the race to run inside the points.
However, any further improvement was hampered by late damage due to contact, and he narrowly missed out in 13th.
Customer racing
Saturday’s race saw three Porsche-powered cars finish inside the top 10, with Andretti driver Jake Dennis and Cupra Kiro’s Pepe Martí finishing fifth and seventh respectively.
Andretti’s Felipe Drugovich narrowly missed out on points in 13th, while a technical issue for Cupra Kiro driver Dan Ticktum meant he failed to finish.
On Sunday, Dennis was the highest-finishing of the customer drivers, with a sixth-place finish from 12th on the grid. Team-mate Drugovich also had a strong showing, finishing in ninth.
The Cupra Kiro entries finished in 12th and 14th, with Martí ahead of Ticktum after both made up several places from 19th and 20th on the grid.
