Donington Park races send championship battles down to the wire.

Porsche Esports Carrera Cup GB returned to a digital Donington Park for the penultimate meeting of the season. A victory for Sebastian Job from East Grinstead in Surrey, was followed by a win for Jamie Fluke from Leicestershire in Round 14 – Fluke’s first since 2021. Overall championship hopefuls Charlie Collins from Monmouthshire, William Chadwick from Greater Manchester, and Job, are now separated by just three points going into the season finalé.

In the equally close Am battle, Kieran Harding from Norfolk continued his good form with two category wins on the longer Grand Prix circuit, Harding was joined on both virtual podiums by Christian Szaruta from London, and Scott Moakes from Bedfordshire. Guy R Edwards from Surrey, and Szaruta, will enter the final two races of 2026 tied on points the Am championship standings.

Job and Fluke win in Pro Job drove to his third pole position of the season in qualifying, breaking a run of form from championship rival, Collins, who had clinched the top spot on the previous three occasions. Job and Collins got away cleanly from the front row of the grid at the start of the race, Chadwick was forced to defend his third position from the attacking pack. At McLeans Peter Berryman from County Antrim in Northern Ireland overtook Matt J Caruana from Berkshire to take fifth.

Collins kept Job on his toes as the race continued, closely shadowing the race leader, but he was unable to make a move. With 13 minutes of the race remaining, Collins tried to pass using the outside line at the Melbourne Hairpin, but he was denied. Collins also tested the outside line through Redgate, but again, Job had him covered. As they battled, Chadwick, Aidan Walsingham from Somerset, Caruana, and Berryman all drew closer. As the fight developed further, Walsingham was forced to slow, and this dropped him behind Berryman – the pair quickly engaged in a tense scrap for fifth.

In the final five minutes of racing the top three drivers pulled clear of the rest, yet no-one could break the deadlock at the front. Job took the chequered flag for his third win of the season, with Collins and Chadwick joining him on the virtual podium.

Fluke started from reverse grid pole position in the second race at Donington Park. He got away well when the lights went out, chased by Gareth Higgins from Exeter and Walsingham. Towards the end of the opening lap Chadwick was involved in an incident that delayed his progress, he rejoined the race at the back of the pack. A second championship contender was also in difficultly. Job made contact with Collins at the hairpin, causing Collins to spin while Job continued – now in sixth. Collins rejoined the action but at the back of the running order.

As Fluke, Walsingham and Berryman continued to lead the way, Collins and Chadwick began their recovery drives, gradually rising up through the order. Meanwhile, Caruana, Remy Gilbert from Buckinghamshire, Leo Gariboli from Hertfordshire, and Luke Pennington from Devon raced line astern in an exciting scrap. The battle came to its conclusion when Caruana emerged ahead as he cemented sixth spot. And, in the closing stages of the race, Job passed Higgins for fourth with a move completed at the final corner.

Fluke crossed the finish line first, taking his first win since the championship’s inaugural season in 2021. And he was chased home by Walsingham and Berryman, with Job retaining fourth. Championship hopeful Chadwick advanced to P11 at the flag, with rival Collins classified in P15 – neither scoring valuable championship points. Following the race, for the incident between Luke Pennington and William Chadwick, two seconds was added to Pennington’s race time, and for a second incident between the pair, Pennington received a further 10 second penalty. For an incident between Crofton Woodhatch and Leo Brown, Brown received a 10 second time penalty. And finally, for the incident between Sebastian Job and Charlie Collins, Job received a 10 second time penalty, relegating him to seventh in the revised race classification.

Harding is on top again in Am Kieran Harding from Norfolk took his maiden Am category victory at the last meeting, and he continued his form at Donington Park. Harding grabbed category pole position, and retained the advantage at the start of Round 13, with Szaruta and Fraser Hart from Cheshire giving chase. Hart was soon passed by Moakes, and that is how the order remained to the flag. Following the race, for an incident between Sebastian Hawkins and Adam Cox, five seconds was added to the race time of Hawkins.

Harding started Round 14 ahead of Szaruta and Moakes, and he conducted another impressive race to finish ahead of his rivals again. Harding’s result completed a hat-trick of Am wins – Rounds 12, 13 and 14. Following the race, James Parker received a two second penalty for an incident with Fraser Hart and Adam Cox.

A virtual Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit will host the final races of the 2026 season on 22 April, Rounds 15 and 16 will see champions crowned in both categories.
