Porsche Junior driver Callum Voisin crowned 2026 champion

Porsche Carwow Carrera Cup GB 2026 / 2027 Junior, Callum Voisin (Rosland Gold by Century Motorsport) from Bath was crowned 2026 champion at Silverstone. Voisin secured glory with two races to spare, as Isaac Phelps (Rosland Gold by Century Motorsport) from Hertfordshire, and Jack Sherwood (Team Parker Racing) from Leicestershire, became new overall race winners. Seven different drivers have now won races this season.

In Pro-Am, Jonathan Moore (JTR) from South Yorkshire took a maiden category victory in Round 13, while Oliver Jackson (JTR) from Surrey beat his rivals in Round 14. Carl Cavers (Century Motorsport) from Nottingham, and Michael Keohane (Century Motorsport) from County Cork, Ireland, claimed Masters wins. And with his results from the penultimate weekend of the season, Cavers was declared Masters category champion.

Phelps and Sherwood are new winners in Pro

Phelps drove to a maiden pole position in qualifying at Silverstone, with Voisin joining him on the front row of the grid. When the lights went out, Phelps defended his lead as Max Coates (Graves Motorsport) from North Yorkshire and Sherwood advanced, and Voisin fell backwards. Phelps emerged ahead of Coates and Sherwood – up from seventh on the grid, with Voisin shuffled back to fourth. Sherwood soon continued his progress, snatching second on the opening lap, with Coates now in third. On lap seven, the leader ran wide at Brooklands, putting him under pressure from Sherwood for the overall race lead.

Voisin overtook Coates for third, and the pair defended from Sid Smith (Graves Motorsport) from Essex, who kept them both in his sights. However, Coates quickly returned fire, forcing Voisin back as the Junior ran wide at Copse. Phelps now found himself leading Sherwood, Coates, William Jenkins (Team Parker Racing) from Stafford, and Voisin. Keen to secure the 2026 championship as early as possible, Voisin found a way ahead of title rival Jenkins for fourth, and then set after Coates. However, there was contact between Voisin and Coates at Brooklands, with both drivers heading to the pit lane with damage before continuing their races.

Phelps took the chequered flag for the maiden win of his Porsche racing career, Sherwood was second, with Jenkins completing the weekend’s first podium. Voisin came home in tenth place, sending the title battle into the day’s second race. After the race, the winner drew the number five ball, reversing the top five grid positions for the weekend’s second encounter. And Voisin was handed a four championship point deduction for his incident with Coates.

Pro-Am driver Moore started on reverse grid pole position for Round 14, and at the start of the race he led Sherwood and Jenkins. Voisin – starting from the last row of the grid – soon began to cut through the pack, and he passed Coates for eighth in the Pro category battle. As Moore fell back he also received a five-second time penalty for making a False Start, relegating him down the order on corrected time. New leader Sherwood headed Jenkins, as Phelps got ahead of Smith at Copse for fourth place.

On lap 10 a close battle between Coates and Archie Clark (XQS Team Parker Racing) from Leicestershire developed, and the pair swapped places more than once. Phelps continued his climb, taking third place overall, and Smith soon pressured Moore for fourth on the road. A few laps later Moore made an error and ran wide, and Smith got through as a result. Voisin also continued his progress, passing Pro-Am driver Jackson for sixth overall – fifth in the Pro category order.

Sherwood took the flag for the maiden win of his Porsche racing career, becoming the weekend’s second new race winner, and the season’s seventh different victor. Phelps finished in second place with Smith completing the podium. With his finishing result of fifth in the category, Voisin had done enough to be crowned provisional 2026 champion with two races to spare.

Moore and Jackson win in Pro-Am

Jacob Tofts (Duckhams Yuasa Racing by Graves Motorsport) from Essex was the quickest Pro-Am category driver in qualifying, and he would start Round 13 in fifth overall. The drivers battled hard for position at the start, and Moore emerged ahead of his category rivals, with Jackson in second, and Tofts relegated to third. Stephen Jelley (XQS Team Parker Racing) from Leicester made for the pit lane on the opening lap, while Oliver Meadows (Team Parker Racing) from Warwickshire advanced to the final podium place. Jackson closed on Moore in the second half of the race, but the latter successfully defended his lead to take his maiden Pro-Am category win – his first podium appearance. He was joined on the category steps by Jackson and Meadows.

Moore started on reverse grid pole position and led the field at the start of Round 14. Jackson was second in the Pro-Am order, with Jelley in third. Moore fell back as the Pro category racers got ahead of him, but he also received a five-second time penalty for making a False Start, adding to his dramas. Despite this, Moore maintained his category advantage on the road. However, at the flag, and with Moore’s penalties applied, Jackson took category victory, and he was joined on the podium for the weekend’s second race by Jelley and Meadows.

Cavers crowned Masters category champion

Keohane qualified ahead of Cavers by just 0.025 seconds in Saturday’s qualifying session, and at the start of Round 13 on Sunday he stayed ahead. On lap 15 Keohane left the circuit at Brooklands where he made his retirement. Cavers was clear to take a category win, and in doing so, he was crowned Masters champion for 2026.

Cavers led Keohane in Round 14, but it wasn’t long before they swapped places. Cavers came together with Pro category driver, Clark, but both drivers survived to continue their races. Keohane clinched category victory this time, and he was joined by Cavers on the second Masters podium in Northamptonshire.

The final weekend of the season takes place at Brands Hatch in Kent on the weekend of 9-11 October, with the Pro-Am category title still to be decided.
