Voisin and Smith share glory at Croft
Porsche Carwow Carrera Cup GB 2026 / 2027 Junior, Callum Voisin (Rosland Gold by Century Motorsport) from Bath added to his tally of wins at Croft, with victory in Round 11 of the 2026 season. Sid Smith (Graves Motorsport) from Essex started from reverse grid pole position in Round 12, also enjoying a lights-to-flag win. Championship hopeful William Jenkins (Team Parker Racing) from Stafford endured a difficult weekend, and now sits 40 points adrift of championship leader, Voisin, with four races remaining.
Meanwhile, Stephen Jelley (XQS Team Parker Racing) from Leicester was the driver to beat in Pro-Am – he took two category wins in North Yorkshire, moving further ahead of rival Oliver Jackson (JTR) from Surrey in the championship standings. In Masters, Michael Keohane (Century Motorsport) from County Cork, Ireland, emerged ahead, however, Carl Cavers (Century Motorsport) from Nottingham now stands on the cusp of provisional category honours at Silverstone.
Voisin and Smith win in Pro
Voisin set the fastest lap during the weekend’s 30-minute qualifying session, which saw several drivers with times deleted for exceeding track limits, including title hopeful Jenkins who would start last on the grid. Voisin led the pack away in wet conditions at the start of Round 11, with Pro-Am’s Jelley moving into second overall. Max Coates (Graves Motorsport) from North Yorkshire ran wide at the first corner, and Smith adopted third place from Isaac Phelps (Rosland Gold by Century Motorsport) from Hertfordshire. Jenkins soon found the barriers leading to his retirement, and calling the Safety Car into action.
Following the restart, Phelps passed Smith at the first corner as he ran wide, while Coates spun off onto the grass before continuing. A second Safety Car period followed, and after the restart Phelps got ahead of Jelley for second place overall. Jack Sherwood (Team Parker Racing) from Leicestershire wasted little time in following him through for third. In the final minutes of racing, Smith overtook Jelley for fourth overall. Voisin took the flag for the eighth win of his Porsche racing career, with Phelps and Sherwood joining him on the podium steps.
After the race, the winner drew the number four ball, reversing the top four grid positions for the weekend’s second encounter. Smith maintained his advantage when the lights went out for Sunday’s second race, which was conducted in dry conditions. Sherwood slotted into second and Voisin moved up from fourth to third. Voisin quickly looked for a route by Sherwood, but despite trying everything in the book, he could not gain an overlap. Sherwood’s defence finally cracked on lap nine, when Voisin tried the outside line at Tower, and completed his move for second at the Jim Clark Esses.
Phelps mounted his own challenge on Sherwood for third in the closing stages, and a few laps later he set up a successful pass started at the Hairpin, competing the move at Clervaux. Smith’s lead was now more than four seconds over Voisin, with Phelps a comfortable third. That’s how the order remained to the flag, with Smith taking his first win of 2026.
Jelley ahead in Pro-Am
Jelley topped the Pro-Am category drivers in qualifying and would start third overall on the grid. He made a good start in wet conditions to take second overall at the start of Round 11, with Jackson running second in the category order, and with Oliver Meadows (Team Parker Racing) from Warwickshire in third. Following the interruption of two Safety Car periods Jelley slipped back down the order, but he retained the Pro-Am lead. Jelley came under fire from Jackson in the latter stages. And there was further action when Meadows and Jacob Tofts (Duckhams Yuasa Racing by Graves Motorsport) from Essex diced for the final category podium spot. Jackson closed to within striking distance of Jelley, but lost out in the drag to the finish line. Jelley, Jackson and Meadows formed the first Pro-Am podium of the weekend.
Jelley was ahead again at the start of Round 12, which took place in dry conditions, with Jackson giving chase, and Meadows behind in third. Jonathan Moore (JTR) from South Yorkshire mounted a challenge on Meadows for the final Pro-Am podium place, before Jackson received a five-second time penalty for exceeding track limits. Jackson, Meadows and Moore ran line astern on the road, until Moore got ahead of Meadows for third in the category. Shortly afterwards, an off for Moore eliminated him, with the final result at the flag on corrected time being Jelley from Meadows, and Jackson.
Keohane takes Masters
Keohane emerged ahead of his Masters category rival, and he would start the weekend’s first race from seventh overall. Keohane led Cavers in the wet conditions of Round 11 but, following the first Safety Car period, Cavers found the barriers at Clervaux triggering a second Safety Car period, and leaving Keohane clear to take Masters victory. And Keohane was ahead of Cavers again in Round 12, driving to his second victory of the weekend. However, with his result from the weekend, Cavers can take provisional Masters title glory next time out at Silverstone.
