Porsche has launched the third season of Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge GB, the virtual championship created in partnership with Motorsport UK Esports.
Sitting alongside RAFA Racing Club Porsche Esports Carrera Cup GB, the championship offers an entry route into top line sim racing competition. Successful racers have already progressed up the Porsche Virtual Motorsport Pyramid to Porsche Esports Carrera Cup GB, and beyond. Qualifying drivers compete online in two categories, Pro and Am, battling over five evenings, and 10 races, driving the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup or Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR, on the iRacing simulation platform. Esports Sprint Challenge GB travels to authentically modelled recreations of the UK’s most famous circuits, used by Esports Carrera Cup GB, Carrera Cup GB and Sprint Challenge GB. Taking place on Tuesday evenings, the 2025 season begins on 23 September at a digital Donington Park Grand Prix circuit, before moving on to make stops at Thruxton on 30 September, Silverstone Grand Prix on 7 October, Oulton Park International on 14 October, and finally, Brands Hatch Grand Prix on 21 October. Each event includes a one-hour practice session, a 10 minute Qualifying session, and two 30 minute races.

Champions in both categories – Pro and Am – are racing for an exceptional prize of a driving experience day at Porsche Experience Centre Silverstone. The top three drivers in both categories will get behind the wheel of road-going versions of the Porsche 911 and 718 Cayman, bringing their sim racing racing experience to bear in the real world. And, new for this season, the top three drivers in the Pro category will automatically qualify for a spot on the Porsche Esports Carrera Cup GB grid – underlining the path up the Porsche Virtual Motorsport Pyramid. In addition, the top three drivers in the Am category will progress to the Pro category, should they return to compete in the following season of Esports Sprint Challenge GB.
