The 2026 Porsche Esports Supercup is well underway, as 32 drivers now progress from the Regional Championships to the World Championships in the battle for the ultimate prize.

The world’s best sim racers are in the fight to win the competition and take their racing career from sim to asphalt.

With over 100 drivers qualifying for the Regional Championships, that number has been whittled down to 32 competitors as the series enters its most important stage yet.

Xander Reed (Americas), Patrick Kessel (Middle East & Africa), Charlie Collins (Europe), and Dayne Warren (Asia-Pacific) were the four Regional Champions.

The World Championships get underway on September 19, with five races taking place across the next two months before the final race on October 24.

From there, five drivers will take part in a Shoot-Out at the Porsche Esports Performance Center in Cologne, before two of them go on to compete in real race cars on track in the final stage of selection.

The winner will be crowned a new development prospect, and take their virtual skills to the asphalt for a Porsche Motorsport-supported season in 2027.

All races will be streamed on the Porsche Twitch Channel here and will start at 19:00 GMT.

The action so far: The Porsche Esports Supercup Regional Championships

The best sim racers from across the world battled it out in the Porsche 911 Cup in Regional Championships, fighting to reach the World Championships.

Over 100 drivers qualified for the Regional Championships, which took place across four regions: Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Middle East and Africa.

After five rounds, the eight drivers with the most points in each region have qualified for the World Championships.

In The Americas, Xander Reed topped the standings ahead of Mitchell deJong and Elvis Rankin.

Reed and deJong took two wins each in the Regional rounds, with Reed taking three poles to deJong’s two.

Patrick Kessel led the way in the Middle East and Africa region, with Dylan Allen and Avesta Ghobadi rounding off the top three.

Kessel’s four wins and poles helped him top the table in his region, while Allen also took a win to finish second.

The European Regional Championship had a tie at the top, with Charlie Collins and Florian Lebigre equal on points, ahead of Sebastian Job.

Collins’ two wins put him in the lead in the standings, while Lebigre, Job and Alejandro Sánchez also took a victory each.

In the Asia-Pacific standings, Dayne Warren was top of the table, with a dominant performance securing him victory in all five races for a perfect score.

Defending champion Cooper Webster finished second, with Damon Woods in third.

Looking ahead: The Porsche Esports Supercup World Championships

Now the grid has been set, the next stage awaits, with the World Championships kicking off in September.

Each of the five rounds will consist of 1 free practice, 1 qualifying, 1 sprint race, 1 warm-up, and 1 main race.

All sessions take place within a single event, starting with free practice and ending with the main race.

Points are awarded for qualifying, the sprint race, and the main race—after any penalties have been applied. The maximum number of points a driver can score is 85.

The Porsche Esports Supercup World Championship distributes a total prize purse of US$30,000, allocated based on final standings.

The winner will take home $10,000, with cash prizes available for other top finishers.

However, new for 2026 is the first-ever integration of the PESC with real-world motorsports.

The focus is a new approach: not only “from sim to track,” but genuine competition under real conditions.

Based on the 32 participants in the World Championships, five drivers will be selected for a Shoot-Out and invited to Cologne.

From these five participants, two drivers will be selected, and will go on to compete in real race cars on track.

The winner is ultimately crowned a new development prospect, and will be able to translate their virtual skills to the asphalt for a Porsche Motorsport-supported season in 2027.
