The latest name added to the illustrious list is Porsche GB 2024/2025 Junior James Wallis. With the assistance of partner, RAFA Racing Club, Porsche has shaped James into a race-winning driver, capable of representing Porsche on the global stage. James made a memorable debut on the famous Goodwood Hillclimb, finishing third overall, and first in his category, in the reputed Timed Shootout.
In his final year with Porsche, James has continued to enjoy the support of Porsche, driving to a maiden victory at Snetterton. The historic result, saw James win the 400th Porsche Carrera Cup GB race, while racing with the commemorative number ‘400’. Alongside the further development of his technical and media skills, James has enjoyed commercial exposure at selected Porsche Cars GB and Porsche Motorsport GB events throughout his second year.
"Entering the championship as the RAFA Racing Club Porsche Carrera Cup GB Junior Driver has been a privilege. In such a challenging championship, 2024 was my toughest year in motorsport, but it has pushed me to new limits. The dedication required both on and off the circuit has been immense, with time spent prepping for racing with Porsche Human Performance, and lots of simulator work.
The paddock is incredibly friendly but extremely competitive, I’ve built some amazing friendships. Representing Porsche at events like Goodwood Festival of Speed, and Formula E, resulted in 2024 being my busiest year in motorsport – I’ve loved every second! The support from Porsche has been unbelievable, and I was so happy to finish the year on a high with my best result yet, providing extra motivation as I head into my second year as Junior."
